It was a great weekend of curling with an even better weekend of camaraderie, laughter, and sportsmanship! During the bonspiel, our veterans got to participate in different positions on the ice, which really helped us gain more experience during tournament settings. All the participants and volunteers were incredibly welcoming! All our veteran participants were very excited and really showed their competitive spirit in competing last weekend, Bonspiel, and are looking forward to the next curling opportunity. Our Windy City Curling Club does an incredible job, welcoming our members, and the wheelchair curling community who came up to participate!

The weekend was absolutely unbelievable. The event was such a thrill for the Vets as their smiles and loud laughs were heard throughout the arena. The volunteers learned just as much as the Vets did. The stick curling was a lot more difficult than any of them could have imagined and a whole new respect for paralympic curling was born.
The food, the band, and the whole atmosphere were truly special. The Wisconsin Vets asked if they could just stay!!!
Windy City Curling was so happy with everything that we are so looking forward to making this an annual event and having it grow year after year.
