VPVA Trap Shooting Event

About this event

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE ATTENDANCE IS FREE, YOU MUST PAY TO SHOOT:

(selections include ammo and targets, meals included)

Tues, 17 & 24 May, 6pm - Vaughan PVA Trap Practice

Sat, 28 May, 8:30AM - Arrival, light breakfast, registration/squadding and safety briefing.

9am: Open practice

10am: Singles ($60) & Handicap ($60)

Sun, 29 May, 9am - UTC: Doubles ($60)

followed by Lunch, Awards & Silent Auction

$180 for all three trap events, including meals

Postal Match Option (Virtual):

This year we are allowing PVA Members and Associates to compete through a Postal Match format. Postal Matches have been around for years, and allow people to compete in matches from their home range. There will be an amendment to the rules with additional information for those participating using this format.

Postal Match Registration: $50

Event Awards:

  • High overall on 300 targets
  • Keith Griggs Memorial Award (given to the top shooter with SCI/D) on 300 targets
  • Class Awards
  • Chapter Team Awards

Host hotel:

Room blocks are not provided, so please book your favorite hotel.

Transportation:

Local transportation will be provided for PVA Members and Associate Members - please contact Keith Cooper at 815 501 6116 no later than 21 May 22.

PVA events provide sports and recreation opportunities to Veterans with disabilities. Please note that all PVA events are open to young and old participants, Veterans and civilians, novice to expert, wheelchair users, and ambulatory. PVA events are inclusive!
